Kate Caldwell
We are thrilled to welcome Kate Caldwell to our team as our new Pilates instructor. With a profound passion for Pilates that spans over 25 years, Kate brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our community.
Kate’s journey began with a distinguished career as a professional dancer, having over two decades of experience, initially training as a classical ballerina. Her deep understanding of movement and body mechanics is rooted in her extensive background in dance.
Throughout her career, Kate faced and overcame numerous injuries, which fuelled her appreciation for the transformative power of Pilates. She understands first-hand how Pilates can aid in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and enhancing mobility, core strength, and overall ease of movement.
As a Stott Pilates instructor, Kate is committed to teaching the fundamentals of Pilates with precision and care, ensuring every session is both effective and enjoyable. She emphasizes proper form, mindful movement, and correct breathing techniques to maximize the benefits of each exercise and ensure you can develop the right balance between strength and flexibility for a more resilient body.When Kate isn’t teaching or practicing Pilates, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, cooking healthy food, and travel.
