Paul is a friendly individual who has a passion for health and fitness and working with people. Paul studied full time between 1997 and 2002 in the area of sports science and exercise coaching and at the age of 21 launched his first personal training business. Since opening ‘The Hampton Health & Fitness Club’ with Gareth Thomas in 2005 his wish has always been to continue using his experience to help members achieve personal goals.

Registered with BUPA and recognised by most health insurance companies, Joanne has been a practicing physiotherapist for 20 years and during this time has worked in several different capacities varying from being hospital based, tutoring for ‘National Coaching Foundation’, running injury clinics for different sports clubs around The Midlands and representing national teams. Her passion for working with people is as strong today as when she started practicing. She believes in a holistic approach to health and exercise and the principles of Pilates for rehibilitation and injury prevention.

Julie has a driving passion for teaching yoga and helping to spread the word of yoga and its many benefits. During the day Julie is a primary school teacher at a local school in Solihull and teaches her popular ‘Hatha’ yoga classes in the evenings and at weekends. Julie welcomes men and women of all ages whether ‘yoga fanatics’ or ‘complete beginners’.

Sam Harton - One to One Trainer

Sam has a great passion for fitness and always had the ambition to work in the health industry and enjoys every moment of being a personal trainer. This training combined with his sports background (having competed at a district level in athletics and trials for Birmingham City FC) has added to the type of trainer that he is today. Through his extensive knowledge and experience Sam has helped many clients develop their fitness, gain strength and mobility and improve their overall conditioning while keeping the fun factor to each training session.

Jane has been working in the sport and leisure industry for over 20 years and has run aerobics and conditional exercise classes in Hampton in Arden since 1995.

Her sessions are extremely fun, sociable and effective. Jane is a very approachable and warm person who is happy to discuss the benefits and considerations of her class so feel free to stop her for a chat or join her to grapevine at any time.

I was a consultant in Accident and Emergency Medicine at Birmingham Heartland and Solihull Hospital from 1984 -2009. I developed a special interest in Sport Medicine and set up a Sport Therapy Service at Birmingham Heartland Hospital.

I was Medical Officer at Walsall FC and Solihull Barons Ice Hockey team.

I have recently had a total knee replacement so I can speak with personal experience of exercise and chronic health problems.
